Just in: Highlife singer Nana Tuffour has died

Information reaching Zacknation.net indicates that legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician, James Nana Tuffour, popularly known as Nana Tuffour or 9924, has passed on.

A close family source has confirmed the musician’s death to Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem show, Monday, June 15, 2020.

The source said Nana Tuffour hasn’t been well for some time, confirming he died in his home on the dawn of Monday, June 15, 2020.

The source also disclosed that the musician lost a blood brother who the family hasn’t been able to bury due to recent Covid-19 restrictions.

He said they suspect the grief of the lose of his brother who he was very close to may have fast-tracked his demise.

His body has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
