Ghanaians go to the polls today to select both Parliamentary and Presidential candidates and this election is strong among the two major political parties in the country, the New Patriotic Party [NPP] and the National Democratic Congress [NDC].

Videos making rounds on social media today shows the NDC Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency, Muntaka Mubarak going to the secret ballot box with his little daughter who was a minor to cast his vote on his behalf.

As everyone around thought he was about to do it himself, he rather held the right hand of his little duaghter and thumprinted certainly the empty box beside his image on the paper.

But that has caused some misunderstanding among persons on social media where some believe it was very wrong for the MP to do that because the child is a minor and he should have known better.
