Sergio Perez Accident Crash Kevin Magnussen In Monaco Video
The 2024 Monaco Grand Prix was a disastrous start for Sergio Pérez, as he was involved in a multi-car crash on the opening lap, resulting in his early exit from the race. He was not alone in his misfortune, as Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg were also knocked out of the competition due to the incident.
A collision between Kevin Magnussen and Sergio Pérez sent the latter into the wall, triggering a chaotic scene that also involved Nico Hulkenberg. The resulting red flag suspension halted the race, but unfortunately, none of the three drivers were able to continue racing after the restart.

The opening lap was marred by multiple incidents, including a front-left tire puncture that sent Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz off the track, but he was able to restart in third place due to the timing of the red flag. Additionally, Alpine teammates Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon collided, resulting in Ocon’s early exit from the race, and he later took responsibility for the incident.

The incident involving Sergio Pérez and the Haas drivers led to controversy when the stewards decided not to investigate further, which was notable given that Kevin Magnussen is just two penalty points away from a one-race ban.
Sergio Pérez’s elimination from the race was a significant blow, as he was in third place in the drivers’ standings with 107 points and just six points behind Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc for second.
